It All Started With a Camaro

In 1989, Brandon Huhtala restored his first classic American muscle car – a 1968 SS 396 4-speed Camaro. Within 2 years, he had acquired 2 more Camaros and built a thriving business dedicated to quality repairs and classic car restorations.

A love for all things automotive, an emphasis on precision and Brandon’s artistry have made Automotive Images a renowned shop for muscle car body & paint work. There is a meaningful story behind each project which drives each clients’ connection to their car and fuels Brandon’s passion for the work.

Industry Recognized Excellence

Brandon’s classic car restorations have been recognized by many preeminent automotive publications. Super Chevy Magazine commissioned him to work on a featured build, a 1967 Z28 TransAm road race car.

Motorsports Career

Brandon’s dedication and drive for excellence in classic car restorations extends to his drag racing career as well.

He has broken 15 national records and won nine National Hot Rod Association events. His successes have extended overseas as well with an international win in Australia, leading to a crew chief position to a Pro-Stock team. As crew chief, Brandon was able to help bring home a national record and championship win.
